Naw Tom, I have trained termites that chew the design I choose..then I threw all the parts in the air, and when tenon met mortise, I figured it was in the right place. Amazing, isn't it? My dogs & cats did the milkpaint

Sweet! Trained termites. And all this time I thought I'd have to do a bunch of replicated spindle turning, then steam some of them to get the bend, and finally assemble the pieces. Boy what was I thinking? :D

It looks very nice though. Give the dog and cat extra kibbles.

Thanks Robert. I should never have told about my secret termites, now everyone will want them. The critters are great with finishes..3 different milk paint colors on this for wear thru authenticity and a few stray dog & cat hairs to break up the perfection.
