Lidded Bowl

Bowl is 6" x 2", with lid 3 1/2"
DO and Ren Wax
I had some of this sitting around and thought these two peices would work together. Both peises looked pretty much the same before finishing, afterwards the lid came out a bit darker. I'm not sure these two should stay together or not. Please let me know your opinion, thanks

Nice bowl. The lid doesn't go with it IMHO.

Looks good even though the lid is a "little" bit darker, they both go well together. I like it the way it is, the color's aren't that much off from what I can see. For me... I wouldn't change a thing sense its finished. Thumbs Up!

Sometimes if I have a piece that is like this I'll take a new tea bag and soak it in a 6oz cup of hot water till it cools, then apply the liquid to darken it up a bit. I like using the tea because it want darken the wood to fast. After applying the tea liquid I let it day, if its still to light I'll keep adding coats till they match. Most times it takes me a few coats to get them to match on light colored wood which I think would work in this piece..
