Very nice R, I like the differing Pen styles and the lidded bowl has nice lines. Good job.

Nice pens and bowl! Can you give us more info on the lines on the bowl?
It looks like burnishing and some type of fill. The lighting could be brighter but thats just a personal preference. Nice job! Smile

Thank you all for your comments! I agree, the photo is too dark, so I'll try and post a lighter one of the bowl. The bowl's center line is copper wire pressed and glued into a groove, then sanded flat. The dark lines are wire-burned. The burl pen, too, has copper wire insets. The pen with the ebony center also has drill holes filled with ebony sawdust mixed with cyanoacrylate. All are sanded with 1200 grit, and polished with Renaissance wax.
