Sassafrass Salad Bowl

Made from Sassafrass, this salad bowl is 14 1/8" diameter x 3 5/16" tall and 1/2" wall thickness. The sorby texturing tool was used for the band. Walnut oil finish.

I like this one about as much as the Maple bowl (but I like the Maple wood a bit more). You do very nice work. The small foot, beaded rim, and textured band make it a real eye catcher.
