Shrimp Tray

Sycamore tray/platter. My neighbor brought over some fresh shrimp from the east coast just before I started turning this piece. Guess that's how it turned out like this. It's 10" diameter, finished with Tung oil and Renaissance wax. Thanks for looking and all comments welcome, Don L.

Leo, thanks. I wanted to embellish this somehow, but just wound up angling the inner bowl to keep any extra "sauce" in the middle if someone wipes it.

Top notch bit of work there. Beautiful grain to that wood. It's funny in way to see this as we served some shrimp over the holidays in the cheezy plastic tray it comes in and I filed the thought away for later that perhaps something better could be turned. You sure proved that! Thumbs Up!
