From the wood pile #2

Pear and Poplar 11" x 3.5". Oh heck itâ€™s almost Christmas so here is my second shattered turning. I turned through the bottom of what was going to be a natural form. A three piece base, a final from another project that did not work out lots of air brushing and saved from the fireplace. By the way the finial is tipped with red for accent and to ad a bit of Christmas coloring. The stalk of the finial is 4" x less than .125â€.
Compliments are candy, nice but unnecessary.
Criticisms are food for growth.

I agree with Frank; better check my discard pile. I love the shape of this. Especially the "goblet" type section. Nice work.

I probably have the biggest discard pile, a bins not big enough, due to being clumsy, so I'm off to have a look....fantastic Art work......I will not accomplish anything like this though.....

Ruining lots of good wood to get a few average bits.
