Footed finial box

Chery and poplar. 7.5 x 3.5 this was my first attempt at using a four pointed turning. There is chatter work on the top and black base, which I cant seem to photograph. There is also a captured ring on the top of the finial. Not my best piece, but, I thought you might want to see it. I'll start by rating it a 6.
