By cored, I assume you are saying that both bowls came from the same piece of wood. The are beautiful. The red at the base is fantastic. Both have great movement in the grain. Nice work. 8)

Chris I use the McNaughton system. For this piece I used the least curved, of the curved blades.

Very nice work, Gary, and great wood. Thanks for making the second bowl instead of shavings.
When you core out a piece, do you cut a spigot on the front of it first or just turn it between centers to cut a new spigot?
