5 1/2" Christmas ornament

My first attempt at this insideout thingy stuff, I used Pine studding so not to ruin any decent wood this time. I know it's a bit rough, but it's just a tester piece......

Please feel free to critisise and help me in trying to perfect the process, ready for the C & T. Thanks.

It's only a practice piece, I would hate to send somebody a piece of scrap wood as an Ornament, the final piece will be good wood and finished well.....I hope Wink

Nice job. I really like the leaving out of the 4th piece. gives a nicer look in some respects than turning a void into the ornament. Looking forward to seeing the real thing. 8-)
