This is a thick bowl by any standards. The hole goes through to the bottom centre. Again this is a yellow wood with lovely swirls of brown and black in it, any ideas what wood it is ....????

Thanks for the comments and ratings Don. It is local to me in Lanzarote, I do not think it is only a local wood, I just can not identify any wood, I'm useless at that. Couldn't tell my Ash from my Elder.

Ruining lots of good wood to get a few average bits.

I am not that good at wood ID, but If it is local to you I would say some type of fruitwood like Mango. Looks great!
