Large maple bowl

Large Maple bowl turned from ambrosia maple. It is 17" in dia and weighs just over 4 pounds. I finished it with salad bowl finish. I tuned the rim to look thick, but tapered it down to around 3/8" or less for the rest of the bowl.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I was able to core 5 more bowls out of this blank. My OneWay coring system has payed for it's self many times over by saving what use to be just a big pile of shavings. It realy only took two cored sets to pay for it.
