Richard Raffan Shaky Elm Tube

I am a big Raffan fan. When I first saw these tubes I knew I wanted one for my collection. At Provo the only one's in the instant Gallery were done in Verdigris. Whenb I asked about these he brought out a whole bunch to show me.It's about 8" tall and 2" in diameter. He turns them wet and then microwaves them to make them warp. It really leans that way.

Chris - I saw these on WOW, too. I really wanted a set of three or more, but, that was pretty pricey.

Rev - I keep a stash set aside for buying these. You'll notice I buy small pieces, they're cheaper. This is actually my second Raffan piece. I bought a box last year. If a buy a large piece it is usaully a demo piece like the bowl. I must admit that Mark tried to finish the demo bowl as nicely as possible.
