Cherry Burl H/F

This is cherry burl with a African Blackwood foot and finial.It is 7" wide and 10 1/2" tall.The finish is wipe-on poly on the burl and just wax on the stem and finial.

Good example of different folks liking different things. This is not my favorite piece. The curves on the HF and the finial are great. I'm not liking the sharp angles and flat sections. It very well could be one of those pieces that is purchased by the first customer that sees it. Just not a piece that I would look twice at. Looks well done to me, just a style and personal preference issue. 8-)
