Maple Burl H/F

This is maple burl with a mahogany stem and finial.It is 9" wide and 9" tall.The finish is wipe-on poly on the burl and just wax on the stem and finial.The burl was buffed out with the three step beall system.

My favorite of your last 3! That color and the void sure floats my boat. I think you made the right choice making it an elevated piece, I stuck out the old "thumb editor" over the pic eliminating the base pedestal and find I prefer your full presentation.
