Very nice piece of turning and wood. Did you find the burl to be extremely tough to turn? Looks like you did a great job with the finishing of the piece. 8-)

The oak burl was given to me by a buddy It was dry when I turned it but wasn't especially tough to turn if I remember right. There is just something about burls that I really like.
