Oak Burl

A NE platter from a piece of red oak burl from my son-in-law. A lot of the lower left part of the platter was missing. I tried several different types (cherry, OO, bloodwood and walnut) to fill in the voids. The little round objects with the white center are black peppercorns. Epoxy with wooddust and black pigment does a good job of making the edge look like bark.

About 1/4. It is about 14 inches wide.
