winged box

This is my first attempt at a Bob Hamilton style winged box. My thanks to Bob for his excellent instruction video. The body and finial is made of Black Locust, the lid is Walnut. Finish is 3 coats of Minwax Antique oil, then after a week of drying 5 coats of Target Coatings EM2000 water based finish.

The blank was approx 7" X 3" X 1 3/4"
