i am 75% woodturner and 25% a furniture and cabinetry man.this piece of wood is gorgeous, but i would have used it as a veneer in a cabinetry project instead. you did a good job turning, but i think the average person wouldn't realize that this piece was turned, it might just looked cupped to them. i know how hard it is to turn a square platter, but i feel a nice cabinet would appeal to more buyers. just my two cents.
