Maple h/f

This is a Spalted Curly Maple hollow form with a African Blackwood finial.Over all height is 15" and it is 8" wide.The finish is 5 coats of wipe-on poly and buffed, just wax on finial

Bob, excellent work as usual. I'm not sure that your wonderful finial is the right one for this piece, or even that this hollow form calls for a finial. With or without the finial, you've done a fantastic job. 8-)

Bill it would be a honor to have you in my little shop in the basement.But all you have to do is get your hands on the Cindy Drozda DVD (Fabulous Finial Box)............It's a wonderful DVD.She is a great teacher. She goes over it step by step.The tool grinding and movement.Very very good and well worth the money. And with your already well develop skills you will be turning out finials like her in no time.......Thanks Bob
