Salt Box

This is a salt box I made for a lady at work. The main wood is oak and the dark band is black walnut. Since I didn't have a piece of wood tall enough to make the body & lid out of one piece I used the walnut to help break up the grain lines to disguise that fact.

It is 2.75 inches wide and 2.5 inches tall.
