This is one of those oops HF's. I was cleaning up the ridges on the interior and guess I loaded it up with small shavings. Jammed the Sorby swan neck and twisted the hf almost out of the sn2 chuck. It tore the mouth away from the body at the outer part of the blue ring and blew the lip into 1K pieces. So I tried a "Whizzy" on the top side. Made a plug from maple at the blue ring and epoxied into place. The join was obvious so I used blue paint and some texturing to hide it, hence the blue ring. Only has 2 coats of poly right now because I don't know if this will be the final color or not..Bill..
