First lidded box

My first lidded box. Made from Sapele wood and finished with 3-4 coats of Danish Oil and then Beall Buffed.

I only wish my first had looked half this good. Great form and grain matching. The tennon is nice and sharp and even adds a bit to the piece when the lid is off. Nice job!...Bill...

Very good. You did really well with the grain matching. In case you ever want to turn a box that has a friction fit lid, you'll need to make the tenon just a bit longer. Very nice work. 8-)
