So...another Cedar HF. As much as I hate the time used to repair all the cracks that just seem to pop out turning Cedar I do love the look and smell of the darned stuff! This one is 9X7 and a terror to get a good finish on. My min wax poly somehow got contaminated and each coat, even after sanding, was worse than the prior one. Got a new can and noticed the batch number was the same and the problem was still there. Went to another store and got a can with a different batch number and all was back to normal. 16 coats of poly and 14 sand jobs. Has a bit of texturing at the mouth...Bill..
WOW, and I thought i put lots of coats on my last one. Do you sand between coats all the time? Very nice as always.

Yes Bert, sanded between each coat.Sometimes it is alight sanding if I only have a few dirt nibs in the finish. Took some heavy sanding between coats on this one to get out all the contamination...Bill..
