segmented bowl

this is just like the the other one, but i tried to do something alittle artistic in the bottom of this one. i added a canarywood inlay then some curly maple circles.

Like the design. Love the inlay. The turning and artistic flair are very nice. Not sure I care for the combination of orange and purple. The textures of these two woods are fine together, but the colors don't do much for me. Then again, it could sale to the first person who sees it. Just an opinion. 8-)

Very nice design and concept. Way to be creative. As Rev stated, the color contrast is not the most appealing. But it works. Unfortunately, over time the purpleheart and the padauk will usually turn brown as they age. Just keep it away from direct sunlight and it will prolong the color change.
