Walnut and RedCedarCannister

Made this piece for my wife's best friend. The cannister is Walnut finished with DO and 3-wheel buffed. The interior of the cannister is finished with mineral oil so as to avoid that Do smell that gets trapped in lidded vessels.It was also buffed. The lid is Cedar with four or five coats of Satin wipe on poly. Stands 6.5" tall and7" wide. Should hold a barrel load of peanuts!...Bill..

Rev I just got tired of monchromatic pieces. I felt like playing with wood combo's, some subtle some a bit more of a difference. I guess that is what I like about turning. Do what you want any form you like and just try and make it better...Bill...
