Excuse my ignorance, but red morrell looks to me to be the same as red mallee. Are they in fact the same wood, or do they just look alike? Beautiful piece, by the way.

If you don't like the colors in this piece, then your colored blind, its hard not to like a piece like this, It always fascinates me to see something this pretty with that much color.

Fantastic. I never thought to use the outer burl as the top and keep the edges natural. Must have started off as a thick burl.
