Maple, zebrawood, bloodwood, spalted magnolia, thinwin

The top half of this piece was originally the bottom of a previous piece that didnt work out for me. Its a bit squatty and the zebrawood ring is a bit low....but oh well

Jeff I have to agree, the Zebra band is a touch low, but it is still a wonderful piece. I was asking a year and a half ago how many woods one could put together in the same piece. The general consensus was 2. You have what, 5? And the combo looks absolutely beautiful. Your sense of color/texture and the combining of them is fantastic. Great work. 8-)

Yes though if you make another, raise the band a bit and it would be all the better.

Jeff, it is beautiful as usual. In my opinion, I think if youwould have continued the roundness of the top into the bottom it would have been more symetrical and I think more pleasing to the eye.

Yeah...me too....didnt have the thickness....its all at 1/4" or less
