Wife and her first bowl

My wife took a bowl turning class and this is what she made. Poplar about 8in x 2in the instructor told her to leave the tenion on. It is about 1/4 in.

Nice job Mrs Bubbatd, I wish my first bowl had looked as good as that. Now, some advice, just between you and me. Men really hate tool stores, we just pretend to like going there so that our wives will think we like shopping but it is a chore we dread. So, in order to get the tools you will want organise a trip to an eating house (we like food) and then, during coffee/lunch suggest that you wouldn't mind a quick trip into the tool store. Your husband will hate this but will pretend to be excited so go along with his act and let him buy loads of tools for you so that he will think that you think he is happy. He will, in fact, be totally miserable but you will get the tools you want and he will think he fooled you. Mission accomplished!
