Hope all the curl in the lid shows! Really pretty piece of straight grained cherry. This too was out of the scrap pile...a cutoff from a larger cherry bowl blank

I really like that you didn't attempt to make your canister knob a finial. A lot of people think that if you put a lid on anything it has to have a pointed, girly looking finial. Nothing wrong with girly finials, but they don't belong on everything. You have a very nice, and appropriate, knob. Very nice work indeed. 8-)

I agree with Rev. Doug, I like the shape. Is that the natural colour of the cherry or has it been "enhanced"??
