3 footed Bradford Pear NE

This piece had a big bark inclusion all across the bottom. I was able to fill with walnut sawdust and CA. 3 Carved feet completed the piece. Measures 4.25 X 4 and has 3 coats of satin poly. Walls average 3/16"

Very nice, one of these days... I'm gonna give the NE bowl a try, your is beautifully done. The little feet make it stand out over a smooth bottom!

Pretty simple Steve. The exterior profile is cut away around the tennon. Once completed you can clean out some of the remaining solid wood with a boowl gouge or scraper. Dis-mount from lathe and carve out the remaining wood with chisels or something like a Dremel drum sander. Goes pretty quick...about an hour...Bill..
