V-shaped heart/apple

This is an attempt at a heart, looked OK horizontal but not vertical. Spalted beech, 3.5" x 2.5", sealer and paste wax. There is a depression in the top but when I tried to include it the piece was shortened and looked out of proportion.

Looks pretty good to me.

Try using a tripod or setting camera on the table and setting timer. This will avoid the blur.

Thanks Leo, I am working on my photography as well as my turning. I am making elemental mistakes like not waiting for the camera to focus and not using the macro setting but my daughter took my camera and wrote out instructions for me so, hopefully, the images will improve even if the turning doesn't.
