A little cutoff from another project. This was a crotch piece and the "Y" is at the top giving two pith lines and a bit of bark inclusion. Looks much more colorfull in the shop than my photography can capture! 5x4 with natural Danish Oil.

As much as I like Danish oil, I would love to see this piece with the same finish you used on the cedar piece. Wonderful piece. I'm sure it will not sit around long. Nice work. 8-)

I agree with Rev. on the cedar finish. That would really bring out the grain on the one. Very nice forms on all Bill!

I like the finish the way it is. The wood stands on its own with all it has going on.
