Walnut NE

Small 5x3 walnut ne with 3 carved feet. Satin poly and buff. The lady who sells my stuff says the bowls with the carved feet go out as fast as I bring them in while the conventional ones take a bit longer to find a new home.

The carved feet are definitely a nice touch. Nice job keeping the bark on. Nice piece.

Really! Never would have thought that carved feet would make a difference in how fast a piece sells. I may have to try a couple and see what happens. This one is very nice, btw. Keeping that much bark on could not have been the easiest job. You did really well with it. 8-)

Hardy, I wish I could! All I did was make a second tennon above the mounting tennon with the profile and appromimate heigth of the leg. Broke out my carving chisels and dremel then removed all unwanted wood. I tried to bring the curve of the outside all the way through the bottom. Hope thisw helps...Bill...
