This was going to be an exchange with my friend Bud, but he picked a different turning. This is red bud, 6" dia and close to 12" overall height. Hard to photograph such a shiny piece, but I'm learning
Stunning piece Paul. It has a perfect balance and your spindle work on the stem and finial is faultless. If Bud turned this down I'd sure like to see what he found that was better!...Bill..
I agree with the above comments. It is a nice piece. I'm curious as to the finial and foot. Is it ebony or a wood you ebonized? The finish on it looks great and was just curious.
Outstanding craftsmanship, this is a beautiful piece Paul, you've done it again and your eye to detail shows, I'd be honored to own this piece!!! Well done... Wizzy
very nice Paul you might try some screen wire the heavy weight stuff the dogs arent supposed to tear on the light to defuse it and further away on the frontal light not that I now but have been reading some John Lucas and Jamie Donaldson stuff on lighting
You Guys, Bud aint seen this. He also hasn't seen the one he's getting. I'll let him decide if he wants to post a pic of it. Thanks for the comments BTW. Just makes me want to do better and better
