This is beautiful, the black in the wood really make this piece stand out and I like the knot also... gives it a bit more class, nicely done Ric!!! Thumbs Up!

Your curves are great, flowing from one to the next. No sudden changes or disruptions. The natural edge gives the whole thing a feeling of organicness. I see no flaws in your finish process. You've done a great job with this piece. It's one of those I'd really like to have in hand. That would answer some other questions that always come along with only seeing it in a pic. 8-)

Ric, Beautiful piece, as already said the lines are great and the NE top is great but I really love the color combination between heart wood and bark.
