Olivia's Box (open)

This box is for my niece Olivia. My wife made a cross necklace for her baptism and wanted a nice box. For some reason, she asked me to make one... Box making is something I am not very good at but this one turned out nice, IMO. Probably the best one I have ever made. The wood is some random exotic cut off I found in the basement. The original block was much longer and had a big crack in it. Probably why I got the wood for near nothing.

I have some wood that looks exactly like that. I never knew what it was either. All I know that it came in on a container from Africa
