Christmas ornaments

It doesn't seem right to be posting these in September. Anyway, l. to r. maple and walnut, cherry and walnut, another cherry and walnut, oak and walnut, and a goofy upside down one of walnut and maple. All are about 6" x 2.5", give or take a little. All have 26 pieces of wood.

These are great! Nice shapes and great wood combinations. Seems I saw a write-up on making these somewhere a while back but I can't remember where it was. Is that where you got the idea or is it your own design? Either way very nice!
