That is one good looking vase, Larry. You mentioned the weight. It made me think about the fragility of the piece. Would I be right in thinking that even at 7 pounds it is still pretty fragile? Besides my question, I think you did a very nice job with this chunk of stone. Not the norm to see a stone turning with a "natural edge." 8-)

When people pick them up they are very careful but they are not that bad unless you drop them. Yup did that a couple months ago. The more cracks the more fragile and a couple more pieces and it will be time to drop another 1/16 off of the thickness for the larger pieces.

Very impressive piece, Larry. I really like the natural edge concept. I don't think I've see that with alabaster stuff before.
