These are actually Christmas ornaments. Left is Locust, right is Bocote. The handles are dyed maple. About 4" tall by just under 2" diameter. No clappers.
Getting into the spirit early I see. Then again, if we don't get these things started now we may well be too late. These are nice. You did a great job and I really like the black handles. Good use of your wood. 8-)
Thanks everyone. Rev, there's a lady that will buy all the ornaments I can make every November. I've never figured out if she re-sells them or just has a thing for wooden ornaments. But I make a few all year to keep in practice and use up nice wood scraps before they get lost in the mess.
