That wood looks like something I've seen before, but I don't know what it is either, but the bowl turned out really well and I like the color and grain in the wood. Very Nice! Thumbs Up!

I love the wood and what you did with it. Looks like you did a very nice job of saving an old piece of firewood. Is the foot the tenon that you turned it on? 8-)

Yes, the foot is the tenon. I was going to turn it off of there, but the wife said she liked how it kinda sat up high, almost floating off the table. Being that she already claimed it, I left it for her.
