Thanks! This was for a friend who's fav color is pink so it had to be tulip wood. It's pretty forgiving to turn and it smells great.

Where do you get the "insides" for the lamp? I haven't tried any pens, lamps, etc so I am not sure about a source for the manufactured parts for this type of turning. BTW, the lamp looks lovely!

I got a box of 25 on ebay for somewhere between $30 & $50. I can't remember exactly. You can get them through craft supplies or some of the other turning supply stores. I'm sure you could google for a wholesale supplier. These are commonly called confetti lights.
