Man that is some glossy finish! :-) So I gather it cracked, you filled the cracks with turquoise and then returned???? What did you use to turn donw the Turquoise? What finish did you use?
I also love the finish. I'm a BIG fan of glossy finishes and would also like to know what you used & how you got it that shiny.

Osage orange is one of my favorite woods to turn.
(even though when turned dry it's harder than concrete)
I love the piece of wood and its shape.
There is no doubt it was expertly turned and finished.
But in my absolutely irrelevant opinion, I liked it better before the turquoise and shiny finish.
To me, OO is so lovely it doesn't need shine or enhancement.
