More Bias

I posted my first Bias turned bowl a few weeks ago, and decided to try a few more. This bowl is cherry and is 3 1/4 in H X 6 in W. It started as a cube 4.5 in by 4.5 in. The vase is Magnolia and is 4.5 in H X 4 in Wide. It started as a rectangle 3X3X6in long. The rectangle was a lot different in that you start with 2 short corners and two long corners. The short corners are at less of an angle to center so until you cut them down you start by only cutting on 2 of 4 corners. Both are finished in Danish oil. Your comments and critique are appreciated.

Not quite sure I understand the rectangle, but I do love the bias turning of both. You did a great job. 8-)

Rev - I can't explain the rectangle, but if you mount one you will see. End result is you get the two long points and one short point.
