13 1/2" X 2 3/4" mahogany bowl, sanded to 400 and walnut oil finish. I was able to finish it even though the lathe keep stopping... what a pain!!! It weighs 4.8 pounds
As I said in your post...Very nice! Lucky to have a piece of Mahogany to work on. It's hard to come by nowadays.

Thanks Bill, I bought 250 BF of the stuff last summer, different widths and thickness's and all are the same length's, so I'll be turning it for a long time. Its ruff cut boards and kiln dried too, so I don't have to wait for it to dry to turn any of it. I just don't get the pretty curls like ya get from turning log blanks.
