Mahogany bowl

13 1/2" X 2 3/4" mahogany bowl, sanded to 400 and walnut oil finish. I was able to finish it even though the lathe keep stopping... what a pain!!! It weighs 4.8 pounds

But I... "Got R Done" none the same.

Thanks Bill, I bought 250 BF of the stuff last summer, different widths and thickness's and all are the same length's, so I'll be turning it for a long time. Its ruff cut boards and kiln dried too, so I don't have to wait for it to dry to turn any of it. I just don't get the pretty curls like ya get from turning log blanks.

Thanks Larry, Bert and Rev, I do try to do my best and I know I got a long way to go, but its nice to get good reviews from the group.

Wizzy, Love this piece. I've always like Mahogany. If you ever get bored with it you can send what you have left to me and I will dispose of it for you Smile
