Spalted Maple

This bowl is made of spalted, wormy, and punky maple. It is finished with Danish oil and has not been buffed yet. I used sanding sealer to help stop the tear out and it worked fairly well. It is 6" X 4".

Love the spalting on that piece. I know I'm a sucker for it, but high-gloss would make this look awesome.

I love the spalting in this one. I agree with Bert high gloss would look really good. then again I'm prone to like high gloss stuff. Keep up the good work!!!
