Salt and Pepper

Another of my latest creations. This time I did a set, upon request from shop owner. I much rather do individuals for some reason. I have a hard time with keeping the ratio aspect the same.
Claro Walnut, 10" Peppermill, and Ambrosia Maple, 6" Saltmill. Only 1 spot of Ambrosia work on this one, strategiacally placed, of course. Wink

The streaks on the bottom were drying cracks discovered after the turning process began, so I embelished them with espresso grounds and CA to try to match the Walnut color. Finished with Mylands Friction Polish then lightly buffed.

Did you stop by Starbucks for those espresso grounds? Both mills look great. The new owners will appreciate them for a long time. 8-)

To me their a perfect pair, well matched color wise and I like the shape of them both. One complements the other in shape and size, you did good Leo, who ever gets them will be very happy with them... well done.
