I like this shape. You have a nice smooth curve down to the flare to the base. Looks like the inside follows the contour of the outside very nicely. Nice Grain and Nice job. I'm sure the recipient will really like it, as well as think of you the next time she has a tree available.
Thanks for the comments. To be honest I'm not sure how dry the blank was. The tree was dead standing, which was why it had to come down. This is from near the top. This bowl has been sitting in my house (approx 40% humidity) for about a month. I'll keep it till spring and see if anything bad happens.
