Seriouslly Spalted Maple

This platter bowl is also from Bow River Woods.
It's about as spalted as you can get and still turn.
I finished it with Renaissance wax to bring out the shine in the hard spots.

Gorgeous piece of wood. You'll find that most folks really love spalted or burled wood. You kept a nicely colored piece of wood from becoming ashes. Nice work. 8-)
