I love that box!! The color contrasts are exceptional.
Where do you find the Holly wood? It grows everywhere here, but I have never seen it 2+ inches thick.

A member of our club got a bunch of chunks from a very big tree, it was from somewhere in the southeast US but can't remember for sure where. It was 2-3 yrs ago, I won some in a club raffle. My piece was 5-6" diam., 3 ft long.

Lee, I'm quite sure it was kiln-dried, it was from a box of cut-off blocks from some gunstock milling operation that Jim Hamilton gave me a couple years ago.
