Sanded to 600 grtit then Tung oil, shellac, Diluted Poly in that order.

these are pretty nice mills. They have loads of interest. Question about your finish, why the shellac between the tung oil and the poly? I'm not arguing about it because the results are obvious. Just curious. 8-)

Those are cool and really different, I think they have "Class". You did them up right Jerry, I'd like to see a set with the round ball on both of them... Well done... they turned out great!!! Thumbs Up!

Satinwood in someways is similar to Cherry (swirling grain), the Shellac just helps to act like a clear grain filler. Shellac can be applied over or under most finishes. Thanks
